Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Khalis. By accessing our website or placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

These Terms apply to all customers, visitors, and users of the Khalis website and online store. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, we kindly ask that you refrain from using our services. For any questions, you may reach us at hello@khalis.pk.

Agreement to Terms

By placing an order on our website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and are located within a jurisdiction where the purchase and receipt of our products is lawful.

Khalis reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. The version published on our website at the time of your order shall govern that transaction. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to remain informed of any updates.

Note: Continued use of the Khalis website following any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms in full.

Orders & Payment

All orders placed through the Khalis website are subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases involving suspected fraud, inaccurate information, or product unavailability.

Placing an Order: Once you submit your order, you will receive an automated order confirmation via email or WhatsApp. This confirmation is an acknowledgement of receipt — it does not constitute formal acceptance. Acceptance occurs upon dispatch of the order.

Pricing: All prices displayed are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Khalis reserves the right to revise pricing at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been dispatched.

Accepted Payment Methods:

  • Bank Transfer (Direct / IBFT)
  • JazzCash & EasyPaisa (Mobile Wallets)
  • Credit / Debit Cards via secure payment gateway
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) — selected areas only

Khalis does not store your payment credentials. All card transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant third-party gateways. We accept no liability for issues arising from the payment provider's systems.

Cash on Delivery Policy: COD orders must be confirmed via WhatsApp before dispatch. Khalis reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed COD orders. Repeated refusal of COD deliveries may result in restriction of this payment option for that customer.

Shipping & Delivery

Khalis currently delivers across Pakistan through trusted courier partners. Delivery timelines are estimates and are subject to the courier company's schedule, public holidays, and unforeseen logistical circumstances.

Standard Delivery Timelines:

  • Karachi: 1–2 business days
  • Major Cities (Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad): 2–4 business days
  • Other Cities & Remote Areas: 4–7 business days

Shipping Charges: Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on order weight and delivery location. Free delivery may be offered on orders above a defined minimum order value, as communicated on the website from time to time.

Khalis is not responsible for delays caused by the courier company, incomplete or inaccurate delivery addresses provided by the customer, natural disasters, or events beyond our reasonable control. If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect address or failure to receive delivery, re-dispatch will be charged at the standard shipping rate.

Tracking: A tracking number will be shared via email or WhatsApp once your order is dispatched. Customers are responsible for monitoring their shipment and arranging receipt.

Returns & Refunds

Khalis is committed to ensuring every customer receives products of the highest quality. Due to the perishable and consumable nature of our products, we maintain a strict but fair returns policy.

Eligible Return Conditions:

  • Product received is damaged, tampered with, or the airtight seal is broken upon arrival
  • Wrong product delivered (item does not match the order)
  • Product is significantly different from its described specification

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Products where the seal has been opened or partially used
  • Items purchased during promotional or clearance sales (unless defective)
  • Products not returned in their original packaging
  • Claims raised after 48 hours of delivery confirmation

How to Raise a Return Request: Contact our customer support within 48 hours of receiving your order via WhatsApp or email at hello@khalis.pk. You must provide your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging.

Refund Process: Upon approval of a valid return claim, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. For COD orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or mobile wallet at the customer's discretion.

Important: Khalis does not accept returns or issue refunds for reasons of personal preference, taste, or change of mind. We encourage customers to review product descriptions carefully before placing an order.

Product Quality Guarantee

The name Khalis — meaning "pure" — is not merely a brand identity; it is our founding promise. Every product we offer undergoes rigorous quality verification to ensure it meets the highest standards of purity, potency, and safety.

Our Quality Commitments:

  • All spices are sourced directly from trusted, verified suppliers across Pakistan
  • No artificial colours, synthetic flavours, or adulteration of any kind
  • Products are packed in food-grade, airtight cans to preserve freshness and prevent contamination
  • Himalayan Pink Salt is sourced exclusively from authenticated Khewra Salt Mine reserves
  • Batch-level quality checks are performed prior to dispatch

While we stand firmly behind our quality standards, this guarantee does not override the statutory consumer rights available to you under the laws of Pakistan.

Shelf Life & Storage: All Khalis products display a clearly marked best-before date. To maintain quality, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, reseal the can tightly after each use.

Food Safety & Allergen Information

All Khalis products are processed in a facility that handles a variety of spices, seeds, and natural food ingredients. While cross-contamination controls are strictly observed, individuals with known food allergies or sensitivities should exercise caution and review product labels prior to consumption.

Khalis products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Customers with specific dietary requirements, medical conditions, or who are pregnant or nursing are advised to consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.

Do not consume products past their best-before date or if the packaging seal appears compromised. In such instances, please contact us immediately.

Intellectual Property

All content published on the Khalis website — including but not limited to the Khalis name, logo, brand identity, product photography, written copy, graphic design elements, and website layout — is the exclusive intellectual property of Khalis and is protected under applicable Pakistani and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, or commercially exploit any content from our website without prior written authorisation from Khalis. Unauthorised use will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  • Personal, non-commercial sharing of product links is permitted
  • Press or media use requires written permission — contact us at hello@khalis.pk
  • Any product review or testimonial shared publicly may be used by Khalis for marketing purposes with attribution

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the applicable laws of Pakistan, Khalis, its founders, directors, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our website, products, or services.

In particular, Khalis accepts no liability for:

  • Loss or damage resulting from improper storage, handling, or use of products by the customer
  • Delays, losses, or damages caused by third-party courier services after dispatch
  • Technical errors, downtime, or interruptions on our website or payment platforms
  • Adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed allergies or failure to read product labels
  • Any loss of business, revenue, or data arising from reliance on our website content

In all cases where liability is established, Khalis's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order in question.

Force Majeure: Khalis shall not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, civil unrest, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, or disruption of utilities and infrastructure.

Privacy & Data Usage

Khalis collects personal information — including name, contact number, delivery address, and payment details — solely for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your orders, communicating order updates, and improving our services.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes. Data shared with courier partners and payment processors is limited strictly to what is necessary for order fulfilment.

  • You may request access to, or deletion of, your personal data at any time by contacting us
  • Order history and contact details may be retained for up to 2 years for legal and accounting compliance
  • Our website may use cookies for analytics and user experience purposes

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms, your use of our website, or any transaction with Khalis shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Sindh.
